Communciation Methods

iPos communicates with MyGate's Payment Switch through ADSL, wireless, Fastlink or GPRS. Multiple communication methods can be implemented and configured for failover in the event that a communication method fails.

Bank Independent

MyGate's Payment Platform is hosted with existing links into FNB, Standard Bank, ABSA and Nedbank. iPos interfaces directly with the MyGate Platform enabling a turnkey solution and implementation process.

MyGate Payment Switch

MyGate's Payment Switch is the core transaction processor that communicates directly to a bank. The Payment Switch processes authorization, settlement, reversals refunds and authorization codes. Automated line redundancy is built in to ensure that the payment platform is operational 24 / 7.
